One more advantage: if you buy a lot of things, that you have to pay extra fees in your country, you can save a ton of money if you pay it only for a package, instead of paying 20 times for each individual item you buy :) . In the country I'm living in, I have to pay around $20 just to get the tax calculation, that is the service fee. So if I buy 5 items above the $65 tax-free limit, I have to pay $100 + the tax and VAT before I can get the item.

I have used Sendico soooo much the past year as it has been where I get all my “junk” gameboys. Like you said Japan tends to take way better care of their stuff. Every “junk” gameboy I have bought so far has been in working condition. One was in such mint condition I decided to leave it as is because I felt way too guilty doing anything to it. Shipping from Japan to Wisconsin can be pricey but I found that as long as I buy like 5-7 items at a time depending on size it ends up being worth it. I love getting their packages and getting my little oragami crane. I have a collection of them! Great video as usual Jake! This is really great because nobody broke down the fees from all the videos I saw that made me start using the service, but the fees make it worth it with some of the steals I’ve found. It just takes a lot of looking daily and luck.

the only way to go is auctions, because of the price and fees, but there are plenty of auctions everyday. sometime you do get screwd in shipping. i just got a gba, a gamecube with gba player and some controllers. in yahoo auctions sometimes the inland shipping is in the add

Not really a bulk buyer person, since I only and mainly go Gameboy/DS. It is great for that job and if you like fixing old tech. I find myself in US items being sold of course overpriced or not good, but I do find reasonable sellers and that know what they're selling and give it a cheap or reasonable price on it, even to the extent that they accept my offers if its 15-20%. But for games like JP ones are SOOO CHEAP I LOVE IT THAN EN.

The main reason to use sendico is a easy way to get good deals on Japan exclusive and obscure things.

I used Sendico a lot in the past year. I love this service, but I also agree that some fees and the incorrect weight can cause confusion. But still, I go back to buy items I personally want to get, because sometimes, the prices you can find there are insane, in a good way I mean :) . Just one example: I bought a Horizon Zero Dawn Prime 1 Studios statue. It was in a big and heavy box and after the shipping, paying VAT and taxes, and other fees, I was still at around 40% below the original MSRP price+ shipping+ VAT, etc!
I spent a lot of time to figure out how that market is working and I have to say, if you know the correct keywords, you can find crazy cheap items, compared to eBay!

If your in Canada, the Fedex shipping is not only cheaper then most all the options usually, but it comes in TWO DAYS... i had like a six gameboy / two plushes and the shipping was about 30 CAD and about 20 in customs fees. They were all very cheap as they were "junk" and i fixed all of them

I’m a little confused about the address. It says to enter street name and street number on separate lines. Do you still put the number of your house in the street address or only the number?

One thing I had to be wary of when shipping to the UK is customs charges, so it's cool that you can keep you purchases in the warehouse and consolidate them later in order to avoid paying even more fees. It's actually worth creating multiple parcels to be sent over rather than having one that exceeds £135. Also, I bought the listing you highlighted at 5:29!

I'm curious what happens if you don't get the premium packaging. For example I bought a ps2 and the listing on mercari says they pack it nicely. So I'm curious if I do the premium packaging if all they're doing is give it a thicker and heavier box which could make or break shipping costs. Because of this I'm waiting for a few more items to hit the warehouse. I played with the shipping calculator, and I'm going to leave a comment on the box dimensions to find out just how accurate the calculator is.

I ordered from Sendico last week, yet my items are still in their warehouse after nearly a week! Do I need to do anything before I can get my items delivered to my home here in Britain? I haven’t been given a “pay extra” or anything notification, what should I do? Thanks

Nice vid. What about import tax? Should’t this be part of the costs? Asking because in Europe it would be huge and probably calculated by the fedex on the way. Maybe in US the situation is different (just curious, not working for customs office)
