Reminds me of the military life. 2-3 year assignment then on to the next. I raised hardcore Roman Catholic. Since then I’ve fallen away from organized religion. There is one thing tho I’d never forget. When leaving in New Orleans, a priest from the Vatican visited our church. He was originally from a Latin country so he had a very distinguished accent and was very proper. Her gave the sermon that Sunday. He explained what he actually does for the Vatican. He and other priests researched select individuals in the past and present to see if they qualify to be designated a Saint. I thought it was the most interesting thing I’ve ever learned about at that time in life. Anyways, just felt like sharing. Good luck with everything.

I'm an Orthodox Catholic Christian. This is the 1st YouTube RC priest I've heard say something where I was like "yeah, that's it Father". "...To become a saint, and to help the people there become saints too". Love it Father!

in 2019 I went through rcia. and i love being catholic. a kid i grew up with his little brother is a transitional deacon and will become a priest in july. it’s so humbling and exciting i think he thinks i’m nuts lol
