Press the “SELF CLEAN” key to toggle between two, three, or four hours.
The default setting for self clean is three hours.
For lighter soils, use the two-hour cycle, and for heavier soils, use the four-hour cycle.

Most models, the default setting for self-clean is four hours.
For LG, the default setting for self clean is three hours.

If oven has a manual latch, engage the latch with the door closed.
After the self clean cycle is finished, you need to disengage the latch.

I have a one year old LSE4611ST model with the "EASY CLEAN" option for my oven. I followed the instructions exactly and it runs for 10 minutes and it was NOT hot at all. Repeated the 10 minute cycle and still dirty overn and I keep my oven clean (lightly soiled). Unbelievable the products we buy today just do NOT fuction as per the documentation. I now have to figure out how to manually clean this and thinking of going back to the old days (easy off spray) and non-scratch pads.

We have been finding chunks of porcelain at the bottom of our gas oven after cleaning. Cannot see the source of the chunks. The oven gets to.800 degrees during cleaning. This cannot be safe. We called LG about this and they were useless. We also called Lowe's and they were equally useless.

HELP!! I used oven cleaner- now I have a layer of white cloudiness all over the inside of my once beautiful blue enamel oven. I should've known better. I have done the easy clean step in the past, but it's been a while so I thought i should give it a better cleaning. WRONG. What can I do to get my over back to it's pretty blue?? I just tried white vinegar. No help. I'm afraid to even use the oven now- it might smell/burn. Please- anyone have any ideas?

I just tried the easy clean cycle on my brand-new LG oven. A small grease stain is on the bottom, much like f the LG easy clean videos shows. I also found it to be completely useless. Very disappointed in how this worked. All it did was successfully cover my oven in water spots.

I have an LG LTE4815 dual oven. When I select Self-Clean, the display shows the bottom oven. I do not know how to toggle it to the top oven because I only want to clean the top oven. How can I get the Self-Clean to point to the top oven?

You cannot operate the oven until the cycle is over and oven is completely cooled to a safe temperature of below 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

My oven is 3 months old and I tried the Easy Clean, did nothing but leave water spots. So disappointed. I was told the steam would loosen food. I cooked bacon and the grease will not even come off. Will try soap and water. I actually put my hand in the bottom and felt like bath water. DO NOT BUY, this is total misrepresentation.

This means that I cannot open the oven door during self cleaning cycle.
This also means I can not operate oven.

Nope. Don't do it. It runs so hot it fries the control module, and LG will not back their product when this happens. New control modules are expensive, so the entire repair costs about $500. Again, LG WILL NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT on this problem, and they know all about it, but will also not recall/replace their product with a fix. I have a lot of LG in my house. They will be the last ones I purchase.

Lg oven sucks. I used self clean and it didn't come out clean. The blue coating in oven cannot be cleaned with chemicals...so basically you will never have a clean oven. Very disappointed with LG ...I bought their dishwasher 2 years ago....the latch to close door is messed...the rack in dishwasher is rusting. Never buying their crap again.
