This song has been on my learn-to-play bucket list forever. Like so many songs of the '70's, the opening riff is pure gold. I always assumed it was going to be a weird chord progression or alternate tuning. It turns out, I already knew most of those chords from other songs, mainly Melissa, by the Allman Bros.
