This is my version of Johnny Cash's cover "Hurt". Originally done by NIN. The world probably doesn't need another version of this song but I want to start trying things that are different for me. I am a producer first and I always rely on a bunch of production so I wanted to try something as raw as possible with just my voice and guitar. My mom met Johnny Cash back in the 80's. He and his wife came into the antique shop she worked at that was high end and famous because of the owner. She said that he and his wife were the nicest, down to earth people, and he bought an antique guitar from her. I always loved his version of this song, loving yours too!
