As a Rangers fan, there is a massive gap between The Old Firm and the big 5 leagues, you look at Sheffield Utd who will never be European contenders yet they received £100 million for finishing 20th in the premier league last season meanwhile Celtic received £3.5 million for winning the Scottish league, Man City received £185 million for winning the league, money has ruined football it’s made the big teams richer and the smaller clubs poorer and it’s gonna continue to get worse as the years go on.

As a Rangers fan, it’s money. Just compare the season turnover of say Liverpool £594million compared to Rangers at £80million and that’s all down to TV deals, Scottish teams are handicapped. If the old firm was put on an equal footing they’d be more competitive especially in the champions league, you can get some seriously good players with an income like that.
