COUNTA function
The COUNTA function counts cells containing any type of information, including error values and empty text ("").
In this formula, we have used the COUNTA function to count the number of cells in the range $C$3:C3. This count will give us the serial numbers automatically. In Cell B6, the formula will change into =COUNTA($C$3:C3).
