No disrespect to the Neo pronoun users out there who are using them because it makes them comfortable but a warning ⚠️ 😭
















They are mostly used because it’s “cool”











And they were originally made by transphobes and nonbinary phobes to disrespect their gender identity. Please keep this in mind while you’re using them! I understand that you maybe feel comfortable using them and that’s ok! Just remember this… 😍😍😍

As a person who uses neopronouns I’ll try my best to explain! ^^

People who use neopronouns may also use they/them pronouns though the neopronouns help describe their gender since they might not have a traditional gender like male or female or even feel comfortable with a label like non-binary, trans, agender, etc! Some neurodivergent people even use them! It’s important to respect neopronouns as they are, snd why you should always ask for pronouns to make someone feel more comfortable ^^ yes some people use non-human pronouns such as bug/bug self or even glitch/glitchself (like I do) though it’s all for self expression purposes and to make someone feel more comfortable with their gender identity ^^

But how do you use them you may ask? It’s easy! Like any other set of pronouns :] lets go with mine for example (ze/zem/zyr/zyrself/zemself) you might say “yeah I saw zem earlier” or “ze said ze would be right back” and “zyr not gonna like that”, I understand it may be confusing though it takes time to learn this stuff ^^

Now you know how I feel when we try to understand the binary gender concepts. That's why I use neopronouns, it makes more sense to me. It takes some effort to learn, but it shouldn't matter to you if you aren't interacting with neopronouns users
