i find the biggest takeaway for me from this video is just to go about the day intentionally rather than following an arbitrary rigid schedule. thank you!

I have to say, I never thought about how much time ruled over my day. I tried to follow my schedule, but often times had many unfinished tasks throughout the day simply to stay on track with what was planned. This is definitely going to be a new way of thinking about productivity and I am excited to see how this turns out!

Notes: Focus and Attention NOT Time Management.
Time isn't what we want to manage, we want to manage our attention. The human ability to measure time is inaccurate, when u don't finish a task, it can ruin your whole day, hence why time management is ineffective. Instead of your 30 mins journey to school, say 30 mins of podcast. What you do with ur time is choosen, what u do with your attention is up to you. Ask yourself, where can I direct my attention next? Mobilise the dead space. You get better and better at being more focused. Your objective isn't to fill the time, but to finishing activities.

The more I watch your videos the more I feel how much meaningful our each activity can get rather than putting hard works into one activity. U make it seem so easy and ofc it's all about getting things done and moving with the flow! Being rigid with a morning to night routine is bs.

I am glad that I have discovered your channel. As the conventional Time management that says if I haven't finished certain tasks within certain amount of time, I automatically ended up in the well of demotivation and would eventually question my ability to accomplish certain tasks and further hurting my self esteem. Like this over a long period of time it is easier to kill your life without actually being dead.

This point of view is terrific. I am struggling with time management. What invariably happens is that my actual activities deviate from my plan. I hope this technique of attention management is helpful. What I should keep in mind is "where is my attention and where should my attention be". I think this would keep me focus on the most important things in my life.

Your work here is what I felt missing in the others. I need the fundamentals, the essential reasons to work with. My life didn't start with lots of education that focus on the driving points, but more of results. So I lost my years figuring but still obeying the blindy system. Thank you.

Love the paradigm shift of 'No Time' to 'Too much Dead time'!

it's something similar to playing online games, most begginers really just be having a lot of dead time and that's leads to them getting killled.
whille more advanced players will be always having their mind constantly thinking while they are playing the game.
