Hi Matthew! Boy oh boy, did you make me want an Italian Beef @ Portillo's. I live about an hour and a half from one here in Florida, but I used to live like 5 miles away from one in Illinois. You had one of the best beefs there is out there. Next time you go there, get some peppers (sweet or hot) on that sandwich and don't get it dipped, get 2 cups of the Au Jus on the side and dip the beef as you eat it. Easier to handle and you won't get 1/2 soggy 1/2 crunchy bread (but their bread is really good anyway you eat it). Too bad you didn't go there before they sold out to another company, the food quality was much better when Mr. Portillo owned the stores. Keep up the great work, I love your video's!

I was in Schaumburg for two months on an expense account and still ate often at Portillos....great chili dogs! Very good food.

what kind of bread did they have for that hot dog? What kind of add on's were on that hot dog? Was that just a plain french bread on that beef sandwich?

I usually get be Italian beef dipped too. Where I tend to go for the sandwich, they dip the entire sandwich.

From actually working in that portillos in Chicago which I kinda miss working there but same time switching to summit working there isn't as fun especially in downtown it's always full and it really gets frustrating especially if the line is to the door during the day
