How To Connect Wiz Light Bulbs To Alexa

In this video we teach you how to connect philips wiz smart light bulbs to Alexa so that you can control the smart bulbs with your voice.

The Wiz smart bulbs are wifi smart light bulbs that allow you to remotely control your light bulbs from your phone. You can turn on or off the light bulbs as well as adjust the dimming levels from your phone. With Philips Wiz Color bulbs you can also adjust the colors of the light bulbs from your phone and even set the light bulbs to custom colors.

Once the Wiz Smart Bulbs are connected to Alexa you can then use Alexa voice commands to turn on and off your lights, control the dimming levels or select the light bulb color. These instructions to connect Wiz to Alexa will work for all Wiz products and the Philips Wiz Smart Light Bulbs.

To Connect Wiz To Alexa:
1. You will need to have your Wiz or Philips Wiz smart bulbs set up and connected on the Wiz app and connected to wifi. You will also need to have the Alexa app set up and installed and your Alexa Echo device connected to the app.
2. Open the Alexa app and click in the menu button on the lower right hand corner.
3. Click the "Skills and Games" Tab.
4. Then use the magnifying glass to search for the "Wiz" Alexa skill.
5. Click on the Wiz Alexa Skill then click enable.
6. Open up the Wiz App and click on settings, then click on integrations.
7. Click on Amazon Alexa Integration and follow the instructions.
8. Click on "Link My Account"
9. Click Link
10. Select Wiz when the open with option shows up.
11. Click Finish.
12. Congratulations your Wiz Smart Bulbs or Philips Wiz Smart Light Bulbs are now connected to Alexa and can be controlled with Alexa voice commands. Test out Alexa voice commands with your Phillips Wiz Smart Bulb.

I wasn’t able to do it this way but on the wiz app where it was about to link it had an option to do it manually and that’s where they gave me the six digits so if anyone else can’t do it this way try doing it this way

You gotta put Alexa on the screen and not say it .. the number of times my Alexa went off in this video ... 😱😱
