Artillery also predicts where enemies will be even when there are barracks, meaning they will often shoot way further down the path even though there's no way enemies will be there. It's especially noticeable for the earlier stages

the archers run may have been even easier if you maxed out artillery upgrades: the final upgrade 'smart targeting' makes musketeers ability shrapnel shot the best ability in the game, because the entire AOE does the full amount of damage.

I did this challenge with Mages! The 5th level was quite challenging but I did the first on heroic and the second and third on iron to get enough stars to fully upgrade my reinforcements by then. And with the spear throwers the spiders aren't that bad.

Great Video. I think the designers favor one tower per map. for instance Forsaken Valley - You beat building just Tesla Coils. I have found a lot of maps you can beat with just archers (But all of them Like you tried to do). I think this is great credit to Kingdom Rush Developers, they also had a great QA Test Staff that eliminated nearly all the bugs. I still play this game on the regular.

The editing on this is really good! Editing isn't something I think about often because I'm just used to editing being generally good on YouTube but to think that you only have around 500 subscribers (which is still pretty good but definitely on the smaller side of things) and you are putting out content with this level of quality is amazing. I also enjoyed the script, with you failing and failing and almost winning and then failing and then actually winning after an inspiring painting speech and then winning with another tower at the end, it was just really good. And I don't generally care about Kingdom Rush all that much but this video was still entertaining for me to watch. Keep at it DJ.

Dat feeling when you accomplished Forsaken Valley from the first attempt with all 20 lives saved. There is an upgrade called "shrapnel shot", it works like an instant artillery.
If you want a real challenge, try to beat Ruins of Acaroth with artillery only.

Have you ever even searched for Kibgdom Rush videos? They've done this challenge for practically every game and every tier 4 upgrade XD

In case you got enough stars, you could max out barracks, the final upgrade gives throns-like effects to guards and reinforcements, which could be helpful

I immediately went "no... it's gonna be the artillery or archers. Archers are the only ones with potentially mixed damage-poison arrows-and also able to shoot flyers.
Also, if reinforcements are available, the artillery doesn't even NEED to be able to hit flyers.

If you're precise enough, you can exactly overlap raly points forbarracks so that more than one set of militia will start attacking at once compared to three attacking and three more standing just out of range.

Rain of fire only with artillery or wizard
Reinforcements only with Barracks
Warrior heroes only with barracks
Ranged heroes only with archer towers
Magic heroes only with magic towers
Mechanical (or advanced tech) heroes only with artillery

Zap towers, barbarian Hall, mage towers and brothers of the forest (? I meant that first archer tower specialisation) can possibly clear the game in its entirety btuut mages are the only tower than can go through every level from the very start

I first played this game when i was 6 and never forgot about it
Now im 16 and i finished the whole series (except kingdom rush legends cuz its not tower defense) after buying it all on steam and i feel like thats what ill be playing when i feel bored from anything else
