The Barefoot Bandits are living the nomad dream in their school bus conversion. Jacq and her husband decided to ditch the traditional lifestyle and take life on the road. Her family came to the realization that money and things weren't what made them happy. It was their desire to spend time together and make memories beyond the concrete jungle that made their decision to live this lifestyle so easy. Jacq homeschools her children and has created a beautiful, handcrafted workspace for them to do the school work. One of the things she loves about homeschooling on the road is that she can teach her kids beyond a room with 4 walls and the outdoors is the perfect learning environment for her kids. There are so many unique things about their bus that we can't even begin to choose a favorite, but you have to check out their shower conversion and the extra 2 feet of headspace they created with her tall husband in mind. Not only is the shower unique in that way, but you have to see how awesome it looks from the exterior of the bus. Their need for adventure and going off the grid lead them to going fully solar on the bus. They have the ability to plug into power at campsites, if needed, but overall the solar panels meet their electricity needs. We absolutely love following this family and how they make traveling together look like the adventure of a lifetime. We can't wait to see where they go next!
