It's in Philippines, I'm guessing when the kids hit puberty, they'll be off to the dorms (senior high school or college). No privacy is pretty common when your family isn't well off. I had to share room with my mom and aunt until I went off to college at 16.

Besides the mattersses are so thin it must be uncomfortable as a sofa, let alone sleeping on it every single night!

The house is layout is nice, but privacy for the kids as they grow older WILL be a problem. I hope the parents find a solution
