LAKE BAIKAL, Russia - As the OLDEST and DEEPEST lake on earth, Lake Baikal is often called the Jewel of Siberia, but what is it like to travel this remote region of Russia in 2022. We travelled to Malyoe More (near Olkhon Island) from Irkutsk. Is this so called 'natural wonder' worth exploring? Does it live up to the hype? Is it better to travel in the summer or winter? Lets find out!

I looked up the lattitude on Wikipedia, and followed it around the world. Alaska, Canada to Newfoundland, Ireland, northern Wales and the Netherlands. Which shows just how far north western Europe is.
