Last week in peak volume, taper starts now.

Took a few days off from some knee pain I was experiencing last week. Came back this week and was feeling good. I usually don’t listen to my body and run through the pain, but this seemed to be the smart move.

Had a lot of elevation gain over the weekend which I think will help a lot for race day. However, the one run route went straight uphill for over a mile. Thought about quitting a lot during that and turned around a little early. That route was brutal.

The work has been put in, not much more progress will be made from here till race day, just maintaining and making sure I’m ready.
