Interpreters at the European Parliament work in many different kinds of meetings and can find themselves working for their Prime Minister one day, for a group of schoolchildren the next.

In the EP, we work for political groups, for specialised committees, for TV debates and cover an unending range of subjects! In addition to that, our interpreters travel all over the world, accompanying delegations to overseas conferences, on visits to other parliaments and on election observation missions, working with all forms of interpreting (simultaneous, consecutive and whispering). You're guaranteed to meet interesting people!

The EP is an exciting , vibrant workplace and as an interpreter, you get a front row seat on history in the making.

We have openings for a new generation of interpreters and can offer you a career with a future in a stimulating, challenging environment. You will enjoy excellent working conditions as part of a motivated and dynamic team. Come and play your part.
