Supposedly, Alfonso Montes wrote this when leaving Venezuela and knowing he would not come back. I left Venezuela, and listening to this makes me feel exactly the same way I felt when I left myself...funny how music can express things that words cannot...

There was a comment regarding the sound of this guitar. I presume that listener needs a new audio equipment.
The Contreras sounds really in the tradition of the Contreras workshop. Is this a double Tapa model?
Besides that I really want to make my compliments for this soulful playing: Your tone is constant thorough the
whole piece as is the rithm (except for the slow downs of course) a thing that more than often is absent with
some classical guitar players. I presume you can play a good bossa or a piece of blues as well! Great job!
