One of the greatest joys of being a guitarmaker who is also a dealer (and restorationist) is simply having so many opportunities to study many examples of a maker's work. The more I see, the more impressed I am with the work Daniel Friederich and evolution of his guitars.

Various periods have highlights in any makers work. Up until now, the only 1990's Friederich I've had to represent was the ex Angel Romero instrument that seemed to me the perfect culmination of his design realized in an instrument. Huge volume and response married with gorgeous tone, the power and ease of response of a modern guitar and the soul of a traditional guitar. My kind of guitar for sure.

Apparently that wasn't an accident as all of those attributes exist in equal measure in this 1994 guitar. In fact I'd say I prefer this one as the trebles have a more spruce like quality to them. The clarity, complexity and ample yet disciplined harmonic overtones is amazing. The basses have that characteristic velvet like aspect to them yet are huge with great clarity as well. This is one powerful and impressive concert instrument. I will go so far as to say this is my favorite Friederich yet.

This is the first time in its life that the guitar is on the market. It is owned by a professional player for whom it was made. It has received loving care all its life and is in remarkable structural condition. And it plays like a dream.

Thank you for listening!

Thanks Aaron, gorgeously played and yes, that 94 Friedrich, in your hands, sound really beautifully.
