If we were to paint the life of an individual, the canvas could never be finished, the colors in constant motion. Whatever the experiences lived, their results are never fixed. Our feelings evolve, merge with other experiences and transform us.
What characterizes our life are all these emotions that mix and contrast, and that we have difficulty understanding and explaining, sometimes.

This is what our album Shifting Colors tries to depict. A constant movement of moods, of feelings that make our life worth living. And if words alone are not enough to express our anxieties, our moments of euphoria, our doubts, and our plenitude, then our music tries to do so.

Anomy is an alternative metal band from Bordeaux created in 2017. After a few line-up changes, the quintet now consists of Litha on vocals, John and Henri on guitars, Ay’ on drums and Kelian on bass. After an eponymous EP released in 2019, it is a strong comeback for the Bordeaux musicians, offering an album of 10 tracks as rich as it is varied, cathartic and powerful.
