Fantastic movie. Sully was an Air Force trained Fighter Pilot, who was also a Glider pilot. It was the glider training that he utilized that day, how to handle an aircraft that had no lift power, using small moves to keep it going where he wanted it to go. The epitome of being terrified, but so focused on what he needed to do, that it never showed.

Sully was the Man of the Hour that day. But please let’s recognize those brave flight attendants that also ensured the safety of all 155 souls on that flight. It makes me cry!!!

Very few people are worthy of the label “Hero.” Chesley Sullenberger is one of those people. An absolute hero in every regard.

I was an airline staff for 20 years and every time I watch a movie that has anything to do with aviation its been either annoying or embarrassing but this one was so brilliant... Tom Hanks and the entire team were so blo... Good.. Goose bumps hearing the brace command... Captain Sully God bless.. First officer Skiles God bless and Thank you.. Excellent work by Cabin crew too
