They might do it at the convention. Doesn't have to be beforehand. Dems have super-delegates. They can nominate whomever they want. And it's not as if any of their voters care for whom or for what they're voting. Dem voters either mindlessly vote for the Dem label or they mindlessly vote against the Republican by voting for the Democrat.

As an independent voter who did not voted for Biden in 2020. Remember Biden said he will only serve one term. and he earned a D average not good enough to deserve a change of heart.

I am an independent voter and I know around 30-40 people who will not be voting for Joe Biden. Our main concerns are the issue of Palestinian genocide, open borders, and the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming president if anything happens to Biden. Unfortunately, all our votes will go to RFK as we do not want to support Kamala Harris. We have other options for female candidates that we can consider.

Imo it has always been the Democrat's strategy to replace Biden at the convention. Allow Trump to secure nomination and bring in new dem nominee at last minute to bring wave of excitement (and relief) to the party with little time to fade.
