As someone who got a Nergigante, I can't help but notice how quiet his footsteps are when you ride him. You'd think a raging beast like this would have thunderous footsteps, but nope - he makes a soft patter. Maybe his feet evolved that way so he could sneak up on his prey, which I must remind you, are OTHER ELDER DRAGONS.

if stories was lore accurate (which would probably be kinda boring cause all the different egg patterns are gorgeous), you'd be picking up a weird lookin nergi spike

I just hit high rank and instantly grinded the last story zones (rare dens) until i got like 4 Nergis.

Use '1000 Blades' off a Seregios for a technical move, plus it can apply bleed. Dream set up is a bleed proc. on a downed monster and Reverto uses Ground Dragon Slash or whatever it's called. *Insert Phil Swift meme*

Also of note using Calamity Slash while riding the Nergigante will not put the Def down on you. Meaning if you are riding it you can do large damage, heal yourself and have no draw backs really. I have also used Crit Eye large on him (Still hunting for XL) and the crit damage you can get works very well with Dragon Eater.

try Nergigante with Arachnophobia (Non-Ele/Tech attack type/Poison/Paralysis) for all attack type Nergi (Power/Speed/Tech) on this build. It's pretty good :)

I have Savage Roar and Arachnaphobia on mine. If the enemy isn't immune Arachnaphobia always inflicts either a paralysis or poison. Sometimes both.

If you switch the time of day at the catavan you can just refresh the area for new dens instantly

First time I got an egg, the game glitched and I ended up with 2 Rainbow Eggs. Saved pictures too. It was awesome. I got 2 perfect, fully opened slotted Nergigantes, one named Ruiner and another named Nexus. Ruiner will be my buddy for life and I'm taking him to fight the final boss with Ratha.
