33 years ago...and Paul's still out there...singing this true ANTHEM.

This was epic at the time as it was the first live performance of this song. Paul's voice is great to my ears, not an obsession with crowd shots, no fancy lighting effects just thousands enjoying and together making a moment of magic. It's just a pity that he then continued to play it at every single concert right up till the 2012 tour and then some more. It lessened the greatness of the song.

I was there, we lived near Newmarket. Then he came to Oklahoma City several years ago and I got tickets at the last minute and got to take my daughter to see him!

I had a library full of classic music videos from the 80s to 90s. One of my mates, every time he came around, requested this particular vid of Hey Jude. Love it!! The crowd were so into it. Listen to McCartney's "whooo's" in response and his "oh yeah", he knew it was a special one.
