In the world of networking, there's a concept of a topology, which basically means how things are laid out. In networks, there are topologies that we can apply to the underlay network, with the routers and switches and there are various topologies that we could use for the overlay network, like the GRE tunnels or the IPsec tunnels that we can place logically on top of that underlay network.

In this video, CBT Nuggets trainer @KeithBarker covers various network topologies and types, such as mesh, bus, ring, and hybrid.

I could have sworn I was taught that Wifi was considered a bus topology because they all take turns talking to the wifi router, but now that I am looking it up, it seems it is considered a star topology even though wifi kinda acts like a bus topology
