Okay, you make a few valid points, but here's the thing: Lego price is literally just about the brand. Nothing else. As for the blasters, they didn't steal from anything. What they did, is purchase a brickarms weapon and add it to their figure. The material is arguably stronger than Lego too.

And so what if it isn't technically Lego? Custom clones aren't Lego. Custom blasters aren't. I paid 5 bucks for an Ahsoka figure that has much better detail on her than the new one, which could go for around 12-20 dollars. Yeah, there are some that are completely not Lego, like SW Bricks and Figs got ripped off on eBay once, but most are still practically Lego.

Plus, they look better! As I've stated with my Ahsoka figure, it's 10x more detailed than Lego's own figure. If there's anything a Lego fan should appreciate, it's a quality item for an affordable price.. even if it isn't made by Lego itself. Don't get me wrong, I love Lego. But knocking on these cheap Chinese companies for making something affordable and just as good, if not better than the original product it was based off of is wrong. Besides, Lego has its own Chinese based factories that make THE SAME STUFF. Same material, same design, just lower price.

In conclusion, good vid, appreciate the input, but I'm gonna continue to buy knock-off because there's no way in Hell I'm paying 15 dollars for one fuckin clone when I could pay 15 and get 30.

You know I use to and still do love lego, but the price and quality of the knockoff figures is unbeatable. Yes, I believe that there are some qualities that aren't as good as lego, but the detail on them tends to be a lot better with printing on almost all the sides. I have to say a lot of people hate on the knockoffs but I'm sorry to tell those lego fanboys that there is more to life than asking mommy and daddy to buy you the new 100 dollar set just for it to collect dust. Also, as you say they are made for kids, but most kids could eat a whole lego piece if they want to, so I doubt chipping is on top priority list of a parent. And as for kids go, they wouldn't care the quality and could probably never know it wasn't lego. In all, people need to stop hating on these fake legos, because they might just go away, and I myself don't like to have to pay hundred of dollars to collect the minfigs, so if lego can't get out of their "im a big company and I will charge what I wish" attitude, I'll take my money to the cheaper, more detailed alternative. I am writing this while listening to the video, so I will give you credit for not knocking people for buying or trying to support the cancel culture of fake lego, other youtubers gotta come to their senses.

My brother got those phase one clones, we love them since we don't have enough money for real clones. We have a misprinted one, and we call him gus. Gus never died ever since we got them.

Bootlegs are really tough topic. They seem just fine for army builders and kids who can't afford current lego prices, but sadly people are reselling them as legit lego and ripping people off. That's where it becomes an issue.
Also, what I have theorized regarding many of the more elaborate bootlegs like Bad Batch, I think that they come from places like CAC, Arealight, and other custom lego brands. They probably have manufacturer in china and that factory just sold their molds and art files to make the bootlegs.

You can't really complain about knockoff brands and say they don't deserve to be bought when you are speaking about a minifigure Lego didn't even produce, cause in that case that's not even a knockoff strictly speaking.
By the way, I must clarify that the clone Troopers are from a different brand then the Bad Batch. The seller just put them together but the bat batch is from a brand who makes higher quality minifigures compared to knockoffs, You had them hands on so you know this yourself. Actually this brand, which is called World Minifigures, mostly makes minifigures that Lego hasn't produced yet

Some of us can’t afford to pay $20-$25 for a clone army customs figure. I buy knockoffs of custom clones and then usually replace the helmets with CAC or Arealight. The bad batch I replaced nothing on though

The Bad Batch figs are good. I even have Jesse, Rex and Cody that came with the Bad Batch, and they’re actually good quality as well. The only complaint I have would be the guns for a few of them, and the face prints aren’t great. But, the part and print quality are actually very good when it come to knockoffs. But, those phase 1 clones in the back must be a much older knockoff brand.
Bad batch, worth it, those others, naw.
