A little tip: if your frosting is too hard/ solid, add a bit of normal milk. Thank me later

Small tip.
If you’re looking for a more subtle sweetness, add some cream cheese to the mix! It really helps to lessen the sweetening while not ruining the texture or flavour of the icing. Just add a little at a time so you don’t overdo it. (I added about 50 grams at a time until i got the flavour I wanted.)
