This is the first time, I cried after listening to the Anthem.. How much have we lost in hate, when we would be so strong with Love. How weak are we, just looking at our differences, when there are so many millions of things that unite us.

As a citizen of India, my National Anthem is my pride. As a bengali, the fact that Tagore, reverently known as 'Gurudev' thought about the country, as a whole, inspires me, personally, to do the same. And I'm happy to say, I do that. Hearing this composition makes me emotional. It also gives me hope that one day, the 'Nidrito Bharata' will wake up. Sooner than we hope. Mr. Banerjee, grateful to you for the work that you are doing. People like you are true successors to the great people who have been born in our country. Thank you. Truly.

This is the first time I've truly understood the national anthem. As a kid we were never taught about the full version and somewhere down the line while repeatedly singing it like a parrot during every single morning assembly diluted the true essense of the song and it became more of a routine. I wish there were regular sessions teaching the true meaning of the song as not everyone could understand it back then.

Gem of an episode Akash. Definitely one of your very best.

Now being an Indian Gorkha from West Bengal I feel proud that our ancestors fought with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and also gave a tune to our national anthem....Jai Bharat🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳

Being a Bengali we have always been taught the meaning of the whole song Jana Gana Mana and Vande Mataram in our curriculum as both were written by two Bengalis Rabondranath Tagore and Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. Thank you for describing the Jana Gana Mana in Hindi so that all could know about this. We should not keep this confined to a single race but spread this to all races of India as this belongs to all INDIANS🧡🤍💙🤍💚

I generally listen to deshbhakt videos while I’m at work. The national anthem hymn made me shed tears. Don’t let anybody tell you what India is, close your eyes and let the hymn resonate with your spirit, that is the Indian spirit. We were always about inclusivity. India was, is and always will be a melting pot of cultures. Jai hind.

I am a student of Shantiniketan. I feel me proud because Rabindranath Tagore was the teacher of this institution. Gurudev is the founder of our institution.

I'm a malayali Christian who's lived his whole life in Gujarat. In our school, we used to sing the complete National Anthem during saturday assemblies.
Even though we didn't understand the meaning and depth of this remarkable poem, we used to have goosebumps and felt so lively when we sang in unison.

Aakashbhai, this episode simply cannot be watched without getting teary eyes. Lots of love, and may our country awake into the "heaven of freedom" as conceived by Tagore and compatriots.

I am a 78 years old Pakistani. The spirit of oneness of humanity in Tagore’s poetry made me lachrymose and emotional. Looking back, India could be the greatest nation as it was 500 years ago. Alas that we played games with our own destiny and became what we are today. Salaam and Shanti from the United States.

I had tears in my eyes while Understanding the meaning of each stanza played in the video . Unity is what gives and keeps us standing alone as a Great & Proud Nation . Sacrifices of our Freedom Fighter remind us of hard times when they were fighting against Imperialism, just to provide Well being for the upcoming generation in our country. Freedom we got not on the basis of Gender Caste Religion but For the People of India . We must preserve this Unity for the Republic of India . Jai Hind . Vande Mataram .

Akash bhaiya, Another beautiful video ❤

OMG I teared up. I learnt this entire song as part of my singing curriculum in school. Today when I get trolled at librandu/ Marxist/ sicular. How would I make people understand I am secular and liberal because I grew up on a culture of studying these people from Tagore to Nazrul. I can not even recognise the country today or it’s people.
Anyways lots of love to you for taking me back the memory lane.❤❤ 14:32

One of the best written Deshbhakt episodes ever. My eyes filled with humility and respect everytime the verses were sung. Thank you for this beautiful feeling :)

I have always been tagores fan since childhood, his songs and poems r so peaceful, relaxing, meaningful, touching, soulful, his stories too.
I m from bangladesh, didn't know much about indias national anthem, only listened it first time in kabhi khusi kabhi gham and now in this video. every time I listen it, suddenly I feel emotional for no my eyes get teary... even though I m Muslim, not a big fan of the idea of "jai hind" bt still those jay hind lines sound pleasant in my ear.
that's the magic of Tagore💚❤️ whatever he touched turned gold🩷♥️💛
