The cast definitely holds promise. The darker nature of the tone and brooding, ominous quality of the trailer alone gives me goosebumps. Hopefully, they remain true to the books themselves. The original Flowers was incredible and will always remain a favorite, but I'm eager to take a look at this one. I'm a forever fan !

Lifetime has outdone themselves with this series. I think this is definitely one of their best in a very long time. I lost hope for a while because nothing they put out seemed to be as good as the movies they gave us in the early and late 90s. Until this... I literally binge watched all the films, and it's great that they didn't hold anything back given such a taboo subject matter.

Finally we get to see how Olivia is transformed from the determined woman who she is, to being manipulated and tricked into a deceitful marriage from Malcolm. Her character has always intrigued me!

They made her look too much like a victim. She was never a prisoner, never dependent on Malcolm for money. She never tried to leave him. She never befriended the staff or Alicia, she hated her from the very beginning. They completely glossed over the fact that Olivia tried to get her to have a miscarriage because she was so jealous. Show thinks I will feel sympathy for Olivia and show is wrong!

I'm so excited for this I've owned all of the books for years and this looks like they took the time to really show more details from the last book I'm glad lifetime is bringing all of these series to life!

Finally!! I remember lifetime saying they weren't going to make this after Seeds of Yesterday. I remember being so sad about it lol but NOW I'm glad they've done this! It needed to happen.
