Christopher (the guy) and the girl(Corrine)'s father are half-brothers. Her grandfather remarried a young woman and have Christopher. So the guy is her uncle but her age.

her father hates Christopher even when he's just a baby. But her father likes Christopher's mother who's his stepmother technically. He killed his own father, raped his stepmother and she got pregnant with Corrine. So Christopher and Corrine are half-siblings too.

But they covered it up and tell everyone Corrine is the child of her father and his wife. They sent the stepmother and Christopher away.

This is when Christopher comes back to this town to meet his half-brother and family after his mother died. He knows nothing.

And he meets Corrine here in the town at a shop first. After, they meet again at the house and found out they are uncle and niece. But they like each other and try to be together and that's when they found out they are half-siblings too. And they got together anywayyyy lol
