This phone is still a beast. Got mine in the half of 2013 and since handed it down to my nephew in immaculate condition. I have the Z3 now but this phone will always be one of the best smartphones. Has less problems than the 1 and 2 aswell. The original Z. Memories :-)

my response to people is don't judge it out of the box, I've rooted mine and am using the white balance setting that is used on the xperia ZL. makes a massive difference to screen and viewing angles,

Great video but what's annoying me is that no one in their unboxing and first look/impressions videos express their first impressions on the screen. It drives me nuts because when the retina iPhone and the retina MacBook pro came out people first went on about the screen. Why don't they give first impressions on the first mobile phone to get a 1080p screen!
