DIY LED Mirror installation (personal Tips and Review)

While remodeling our master bathroom I decide to purchase and install one of these beautiful crystal clear Lighted LED mirrors. So here are a few tips and tricks of you plan on doing something similar.

Please Note: This Mirror must be hard wired and installed to electrical wiring. Professional electrician suggested for installment. I recently bought an LED mirror and the light shuts off by itself after a few minutes. The touch power button and defrost button. Stay lit though. Is this normal?

Thanks for the great content! I'm in the market for a LED mirror. What do you think about the amazon mirrors? They seem to have a significantly lower price tag with more features: anti-fog, three color temp, etc. Is the costco one having better quality in general?

Hi can I hardwire this mirror to a light fixture above the vanity so when the customer turns on the switch both the led mirror and light will come on or should I run wire to to the switch?

So how is this hanging method working for you 1 year later? We are about to hang one that is 27x40. I've used those hangers for many things and find the counterbalance method reliable, but a $350 mirror is another ball of wax. TIA.

Since this is near water, don't you have to have it wired to a GFCI?

all these mirrors are going with a touch on/off switch (which is awful in the bathroom as your hands are wet in most cases)
is yours meant to be the same way too? I see a lot of these mirrors are hardwired but they don't turn on automatically...
