It should be noted that there are some places in Lahaina that survived and are open again! Mala Ocean Tavern, Old Lahaina Luau (Reopening March 12), the Lahaina Cannery Mall, and others are open and could use the support.

I just came back from Maui. Nothing replaces Lahaina. Yes, there are other places to go to, things to see and nature is amazing. This was my 15th time there. Lahaina was the heart of Maui. No heart left. It felt really different.

The Kapalua Resort used to offer a free shuttle, with reservations, to the top of their Mahana Ridge Trail, but I see now that it is a 20-mile roundtrip hike. It was difficult enough just going downhill for 10 miles into the heat.

100% recommend that snorkel store. Lisa there was fantastic and knowledgeable.

Also, Sail Maui is an amazing team for a catamaran trip. During the fire aftermath they turned 100% to relief transportation and relied on go fund me to be able to do it without charging people.

You don’t have to wait in line at the Gazebo Restaurant. Walk up to the front of the line and order to go. Sit at the tables by the pool or sit on the wall and watch enjoy the view.

Highly recommend the Alii Maui Outriggers in Ka'anapali. We go to West Maui yearly and wouldn't miss it!
