Good vocals from Mike Magness and his fiery organ solo.

Girl I can understand how it might be
Kinda hard to love a guy like me
I don't blame you much for
Wanting to be free
I just wanted you to know
I'd love you better than your own kin did
From the very start
It's my own fault
For what happened to my heart
You know I've always known you

So you just do what you gotta do
My wild true love
Though (For) it may mean I'll never kiss
Those sweet lips again
Pay that no mind
And climb that dappled (devil) tree of yours
And come on back
And see me when you can

Now I know they make you sad
Make you feel so bad
Say that you don't treat me like you should
They got ways to make you feel no good
I guess they got no way to know
I've kept my eyes wide open from the start
And girl
You've never lied to me
A part of you they will never see
Is the part you've shown to me

Now you just do what you gotta do
My wild true love
Though it may mean I'll never kiss
Those sweet lips again
Pay that no mind
And climb that dappled tree of yours
And come on back
And see me when you can

Now you just do what you gotta do
My wild true love
Though it may mean I'll never kiss
Those sweet lips again
Pay that no mind
And climb that dappled tree of yours
And come on back
And see me when you can

Hassan Idris d lead guitarist, also a vocalist and one of d founder member passed away in 2019..Nand kumar also a vocalist and multi instrumentalist passed in 1991. Hussein Idris, Hassan's younger brother and Billy Chang are still active in carrying on d strollers legacy. But very little is known about d whereabout of Mike magness and what he is engaged In at d moment.. It wld be nice fr anyone in d know out there to give us some snippets on this personality frm a much loved Malaysian band..

Written by Jimmy Webb, first commercial recording by Johnny Rivers in 1967 :D very commendable rendition, wonder who sang lead vocals: Nand or Hassan?

It is strange that Ramli's name is mentioned in the lineup on this album as he was only involved in the debut single 'I wanna thank you' c/w 'It ain't nothing but a house party'. Jimmy D'Olivero was also the singer involved in the album with Ramli. From the second single onwards till the day the band broke up, Ramli has been replaced by Hussein Idris as the drummer.
