Bullet proof, unless you straight gas it 😭

I love those echos, I have that exact model my grandpa used in the early 2000’s it’s a tank and can put perform the new stuff in my opinion!!!

Gray echos are really better built than the orange. I found one and fixed it for $25-30 I'm in parts.

Started on first pull and sounded great! Oh, yeah! I just had my first Echo basement rescue chainsaw given to me. What a unique and interesting machine! Can’t wait to dig into it!

I've got 100s of them. All same issue. Ethanol wrecks the metering diaphragms and fuel lines.50 cents to fix it so I kept them all lol. The Japanese engines have pride work it to them and last forever.

My favorite trimmers. Very well made and easy to work on.

oh man i'd love to have one of those old Echo's! back when Kioritz made them. i've never ran nor owned one before, but i've always heard great things about them.

With simple care, these older Echo's can last indefinitely. I own a 30-year-old SRM-2501, and it still keeps on trucking.

Had an aunt who had one... ran it off straight gas

My dad has one he bought new in 99 or 00 and we use it for his landscape company and I have literally tried to blow it up before and it will not die

I have an old Stihl fs36. It sat in a junkyard for 10 years and ran with nothing more then fresh gas!

Seriously, how much power do you need to spin a weedeater line? These are great weedeaters, and with a little care, they last forever

I've got the same trimmer, I believe mine is the SRM210, I've had it for around 20 years & still running strong.
I went to retire it a few years back & got the SRT285 "I think" but went back & pulled the old 210 out of Retirement.

I have the John Deere version of that, and it runs perfectly clean. The carbon took out the spark, arrestor and cleaned it, and it runs perfect

I had a line trimmer for 18 years before it packed it in. The new one required a new carby after two years.

Just so you know, Echo has lifetime warranty on the ignition module.
