Thank you for this video. No one cautions about the use of glutathione. I subscribed immediately!
Everyone recommends glutathione. I purchased liposomal from Renue. I had a very strange reaction. I had a tingling sensation with brain fog & fatigue. I stopped tried again same strange feeling. Very scary.
Clearly causing an imbalance for me. I read about something called reductive stress. I think that is what is happening to me.
I spent a lot on 2 bottles waste of money.

Animal studies don’t often equate to human study results. I use exogenous injectable glutathione daily and within a month had significant improvement in my complexion and fine lines. I’ve been told by many I look 10 years younger. At age 45, researching there is no downside to taking exogenous glutathione. There’s tons of published studies and articles about it. However, low glutathione production is also seen in zinc deficiency. So taking GlyNac isn’t an all in one solution. I took 10 grams of GlyNac for months and had no increase in glutathione production. I did recently test positive for a gene that may cause zinc deficiency which is my next test to take.

Conventional L-glutathione cannot be well absorbed by everyone, that is true. However, in addition to the reduced and bioidentical L-glutathione form (the body's own form), there is also an acetylated glutathione. For example, S-acetyl-glutathione is stabilized by an additional acetyl group and can often be better absorbed. The production of S-acetyl-glutathione is carried out through fermentation by the bacterium Saccharomyces cerevisiae (without genetic engineering).

I had a very serious problem with chemical toxicity that my Naturopath found in my lab work. Very high levels of 2 neurotoxic chemicals. She put me on liposomal glutathione. The first time I took it, I HATED the taste and I felt like I was drinking gasoline or something. I also got an optical migraine immediately upon taking it, it was really bizarre. She told me to stop taking it and I switched to glutathione IVs which were a miracle for me. They greatly helped to improve my severe chronic migraines which were caused by the chemical toxicity. I would get a 2, 00 mg glutathione IV once a month for maintenance and it decreased my migraine frequency significantly for years. Now I deal with long Covid migraines, which are different (they involve sinus pressure and a very stiff neck, fluvoxamine is the only thing that helps but it has awful side effects) and the glutathione IVs don’t help as much for those.

I stopped using glutatione supplements and have been using DMG (dimethylglycine) instead for years. It is an essential amino acid derivative. I notice it's beneficial affects of it.

I buy my Glycine and NAC separately in bulk powder form, and mix 600mg / day of each. I also add in my 6g/day of taurine and 1.5g/day of TMG.
I mix up a months worth of all four in a big tub then take one scoop of the mix in the morning, one scoop at night and that's all my amino acids made easy and probably about the best value for money as well. Currently buying them in 1kg bags from Peak Supps although I did start off with a small tub of Glynac capsules from DoNotAge just to make sure I didn't have any bad effects from it. (I didn't) 😀

Glutathione vs. Glucosamine for Longevity: Which Is Better?
Both glutathione and glucosamine support longevity, but they work in different ways.

Glutathione 🧬 = Cellular health, detox, immune function, and anti-aging.
Glucosamine 🦴 = Joint health, cartilage repair, and inflammation reduction.
1. Cellular & DNA Protection (Glutathione ✅)
Glutathione is the master antioxidant, reducing oxidative stress that accelerates aging.
Protects mitochondria and DNA, preventing age-related cell damage.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Glutathione (essential for anti-aging at a cellular level).

2. Joint Health & Mobility (Glucosamine ✅)
Glucosamine rebuilds cartilage and reduces joint pain, helping with arthritis and mobility.
Supports synovial fluid, keeping joints lubricated.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Glucosamine (key for maintaining movement and independence).

3. Detoxification & Liver Health (Glutathione ✅)
Glutathione is critical for liver detox, helping remove toxins and prevent liver diseases.
Reduces inflammation and metabolic stress, lowering the risk of age-related conditions.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Glutathione (essential for detox and long-term health).

4. Immune System Support (Glutathione ✅)
Strengthens T-cells and natural killer cells, protecting against infections and chronic disease.
Reduces inflammation, which is a key driver of aging.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Glutathione (stronger immune system = longer life).

5. Skin & Anti-Aging (Glutathione ✅)
Brightens skin, reduces wrinkles, and prevents collagen breakdown.
Slows down visible signs of aging.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Glutathione (protects against aging from the inside out).

6. Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health (Tie 🤝)
Glutathione: Lowers oxidative stress and inflammation, preventing heart disease.
Glucosamine: Supports vascular health and may reduce heart disease risk.
👉 Winner for Longevity: Both (synergistic benefits).

Final Verdict: Which One Is Better for Longevity?
✅ Glutathione is superior for cellular longevity, detox, immune support, and anti-aging.
✅ Glucosamine is essential for joint health and mobility, ensuring you stay active as you age.

💡 Best Approach? Take both! They complement each other for a longer, healthier life.

I think the 600 mg dosage of NAC is a missconception. It comes from the minimum ammount to clear mucus from the lungs. It is used for decades for this purpose. In the sudies we have right now, that showed a positive effect to glutathione production the dosage was much higher. I by my self take 4 g of each a day. I think 1, 2 g at the age of 60 and up is massively underdosed.

You should do one on Superoxide Dismutase, I know tablets are usually enteric coated to keep stomach acids from destroying.

NAC destroyed me. It shut down the inflammatory reactions necessary for tissue repair. My tendons and muscles degraded. There was a study on young athletes which showed NAC hinders muscle regrowth after strenuous exercise.

Question: It seems like taking glutathione powder sublingually is immediately absorbed, bypassing digestion, your thoughts? Also, the dependency idea may or may not be true, but in the case of Melatonin many say it has turned out not to be true after all. Your thoughts? Love your channel.

What is your opinion of occasionally receiving glutathione via IV? I once was ill and went to an IV clinic to get some hydration. I was able to receive 8G of vit C and they also offered glutathione.

I have a Glutathione deficiency. I’m age 61. I take a product called Continual-G, which is a little different than the Glutathione capsules you can buy. I sometimes do Glutathione by IV. I also take GlyNAC from VitalityPro. Should I not take the Continual-G supplement?
