I once had a world where the land was normal, and then it suddenly dropped off like a minecraft chunk that hadn't loaded. I actually though that was the case, and so I threw an item to see if it floated on invisible blocks, but it didn't. I built a rope down the side and found the ground roughly 20 blocks beneath me, going on as normal. I built my base inside that wierd dropoff, but sadly lost the world when I installed Tmodloader (this was before the days of it being on Steam)
I miss that world.

0:17 there's just something obscenely cool about having an entire ocean be your world, with a living, beating hell-heart directly underneath it all. Especially with the rest of the right hand side being just purely water, like a bootleg globalized version of the Calamity Abyss that spans the entire underbelly of your world instead of its own separate chute.

Had a world that was relatively normal in most regards, but as soon as you went underground there was around 80% more water than any other world I had seen up to that point. Just about every cave you went into was at least partially flooded.

0:18 you know, I think I have a world map like that with the addition that the crimson was flooded.

You should leave the seeds for any worlds generated in 1.4+

I once got a desert that was half floating over a stretch of forest, only supported by one layer of sandstone. And there was another desert like, 40 tiles to the right of said forest.(which was the half that was hanging)

Once had a world that would just have random pockets of desert just everywhere, underground, on the land, in caves, everywhere. When you looked at the world map it looked like a checkerboard of tan and grey. Still one of my favorite worlds ever.

I had the most scuffed crimson generation on one of my worlds. Multiple caverns attempted to generate in the same area making some of the weirdest generation I had ever seen

I remember a world I got where the right ocean was completely dry and had an underground house in it complete with a gold chest

my entire friggin desert in my current modded playthrough was like that first clip you showed
i think its happened to me in 1.4 vanilla a couple of times too

i had something similar to 0:28 happen to me on my xbox 360 world, a crimson heart merged with a dungeon chest and it would instabreak when mined with a pickaxe, except the game read it as a crimsonheart so it wouldnt actually destroy the chest. i was able to get thousands of golden chests in seconds because of it, and i still have that world data on my 360 today.

when i created a new world to play with a friend, by walking to the right side i was met with a desert, and a huge tree with two holes around it. weird but ok

when walking for long till the left, suddenly the background would change to desert despite not even having a desert nearby.

theres more odd stuff in this world but its been a while since i played in it
