Wtf, not going to lie, this makes no since at all to me but it works... I cut a 5 mm strip of paper and just randomly kept covering different areas of the ribbon cables until it worked. Thanks

You killed me with the intro 🤣 ... I have vertical lines on a lame 32" roku purchased in 2021 ... Factory reset the tv along with firestick and have the same trouble ( however it's intermittent problem ) ... Blows my damn mind how I only have this tv since mid 2021 ... First of I don’t understand how this works, I gave the tv to a technician to repair he came back to tell me the screen is bad that I need to change it. Thank God I watch your video. I took out my screwdrivers follow your guild lines. And bingo it works. You’re Amazing!

Thank you for the video! worked well for my 55 " hisense tv. I still have a thin red horizontal line at the bottom. Could it be that my tape was too thin? Should I increase the size of 5 mm tape I've used?

Nice trick, thanks. I would have swapped ribbon cables first as well to make sure it is not the ribbon that is bad.

But here you have 2 small cables on both side instead of 1 cable on each side as demonstrated in video.

Does it work on LG55LN5700UH?the problem has a vertical white display on the left side approx 6inches wide and a bit flickering but still the screen working but blurred on the portion and the sound is good.do i follow the same step?i need help.thanks
