That's an amazing set to see completed... so nostalgic. All of those cards look amazing in a binder like that. I hate top loaders and hiding them in a box some place. Having my cards in a binder just makes me appreciate the cards more. I noticed I never looked at them when I had them in top loaders. I don't have a big collection so I just throw what I pull and find at my local card shop! I want to start trying to collect all the Espeons!

I went through my storage unit today and found that i have about 45 out of the 102 base set cards! Of course in ridiculously poor condition (found them just thrown at the bottom of a cardboard box). Also found a handful from jungle and fossil. Your set is awesome, and so rare to find in mint condition. Maybe you should get them all graded and sit on them until pokemon's 50th anniversary haha. That's what I would do! That way you can enjoy them for yourself for another 25 years then pass them on to the next generation of collectors!

Very interesting that your favorite is the Venusaur. My favorite it the Blastoise because I tend to like the water starters better. The Nidoking is pretty awesome as well. I think the Arcanine is a nice non-holo.
