While I was a big Jewel fan, I have not cared for her music in quite some time. That being said, she has always performed best live and in front of an audience. The music off her first album is simply amazing and watching her perform these songs now and almost 20 years ago shows how she has grown as a performer.

This is like Joni MItchell singing Both Sides Now younger and again many years later when she had lived a little. Jewel is like that. She has more life experience and this sounds beautiful and more haunting than ever now. To whoever said it was awful you missed this fact!

Jewel has been "over-singing" for a few years now. Really frustrating. The last time she was comfortable to listen to was 2006. Great singer though, don't get me wrong.

Kidding? why is this a great performance to you? she's over singing far too much to the point it sounds awful, unpleasant to hear and not good in my opinion, which at the end of the day is only my opinion. I've heard covers way better than this.
