Prof Abhay Dubey: Hindenburg Report sinks LIC with Adani Group Stocks | Narendra Modi can't run away

In this weekly political discussion, Senior Journalist and Founder The Public India, Anand Vardhan Singh talks to Prof. Abhay Dubey, senior journalist and former professor at CSDS, New Delhi about the ongoing crisis of Adani Group whose stocks are falling rapidly after the Hindenburg Research published a report and alleged Gautam Adani being involved in stocks manipulations and accounting frauds. Several other agencies like Forbes also published such reports about the Adani Group. After the Hindenburg Report, Adani Group shares have tanked about 60 to 80% but more importantly, it has affected other shares too. LIC has invested about 30,000 crores in Adani Stocks which has come down to 26,000 crores and it is the first time that the LIC investment has come down below its purchase price.
According to Prof. Dubey, the ruling BJP has no answers on this issue Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself promoted his friend Gautam Adani. The issue is damaging PM Modi and BJP’s reputation and they can’t run away from it.

LIC chairman should be jailed for not selling the stocks when the market value is going below the purchased price.
Let us please believe in the amount mentioned by chairman I.e. 30, 000 crores is low. It should be recovered from his assets value of which is higher than 30k crores.

LIC में जब CLAIM की नौबत आती है तो HOLDER को 100 DOCUMENTS मांगती है, CLAIM SETTEL करने के लिए.
यानी की LIC CLAIMS इतने आसानी से देते नही है.
लेकिन अदानी को इतना करोड़ रुपया कैसे दे दिया LIC ने और जो घाटा हुआ है उसे LIC कैसे पूरा करने वाली है।
अदानी को LOAN देते वक्त LIC ने सभी DOCS चेक किए थे क्या.
