one of my Major goals is to get myself some acres in Arizona and do my part with the revitalization efforts.

100 % agree the hardest trees are always supposed "invasive species" The quicker we realise that that terminology does not exist in nature the better. Well said Geoff.

The wintercreeper I'm removing now has created a heap of topsoil in the decades it was there. I think redbud and elderberry can compete and shade the bush honeysuckle, and increase seed pressure against the "invasives"

Pattern recognition! I hope there's Permaculturelists out there using AI to spot patterns we can't!

Constant mental struggle with "appropriate technology" I've been considering buying a small camera drone. Thinking it could be a good boost in my attempt of spreading property owner/customer-based ecosystem establishments.

Imagine what these guys could achieve with a fleet of D9’s and a couple billion dollars. Wide scale regeneration and weather pattern change.

Pioneer species are invasive, like black locust, but wow do they bring so much nitrogen into the soil and other helpful bacteria and fungi

We've already botched up the environment. We might as well just try to make the world as nice as possible. IMO we can do it better then Mother Nature. She takes forever and she is hit or miss.
