Let that man live his life. I recently read Romans 14 that blew my mind. My favorite verse (13) in that chapter says, "…Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister ".

Some of my brothas and sistas are too holy and too righteous for me. Everyone song doesn't have to be about or mention Jesus to do his work, which is TO LOVE. As an artist myself who is a follower of Christ, please stop putting chains on us that sometimes stunts our growth as people and artist. Let people live!

Took me some comment reading to discover that this song is written for his wife. This song is so powerful and romantic! Many artists don't even have a wife to write about. And a lot that do have a relationship speak of ones they had and the break up, or speak of a girl friend. This shows that have a successful marriage is still possible. I felt convicted listening to this. I feel I haven't been the perfect person to my partner and I take her for granted so many times. I would put my friends over her and I would knit pick errors in her I saw, and yet she still unconditionally accepts me. She lead me to Christ when I didn't know about Him and without her I wouldn't have ever come to know Christ. She put a relationship between me and God before our own relationship. She's been a Light in my life but I feel I haven't been equal in leading her heart to Christ. I've been so focused on making sure my relationship looked good in front of others that I haven't been properly guiding her heart Him. She deserves so much and I want her to be lead properly to HIM as she did for me. I'm thankful this song was a tool used to lock my focus where it needs to be

All you negative folks who want to find fault in everything based on your expectations need to fall back! I'd take this song any day over what's mainly hitting the airwaves. Hands down this has to be one of lecraes best tracks.
And I love showing people Christian rap like this because they're used to stuff like lil Wayne and all that, so when they here about Christian rap they think it's gonna suck. My friends reaction was priceless. At first he didn't think it was actually christian because the track was so hot. I love proving to people that christians can be just as cool as anyone else
