Great Stand up Bass, Great then there is the so-called drummer. When he played his so-called solo (so-low) I looked out my window. Thought there was a hell of a car wreck outside. This drummer doesn't know the Big Band/Jazz style. So many opportunities for dynamic press-rolls, bass drum bomb drops, rim-clicks. Please don't take this wrong. I might believe he's a fine drummer. But he certainly didn't display it on this tune. as always: "STELLA COLE"--- Talent on loan from GOD above. What a VOICE! LOVE IT!

I didn't visit this site for 2- weeks since the first time I listened to this song. Thought maybe I was a little rough on the drummer. WELL! after giving it a second listen. It's even WORSE than what I remembered. The Drum Solo isn't even on the BEAT!!!! fa dup, fa-dup, flam, fa-dup! OMG!!!! Wish I could sit in one night with this fine piano player & fine stand-up bass. This song could be SO TIGHT with calls & echo's between players, unison drumming to the melody lines of the bass / piano. There is a HUGE musical drum part that simply doesn't exist!!! Sorry. That's as kind as I can be.
