Hey all, one important note: these are merely suggestions, rather than prescriptive rules. There are times when using ultra-symmetrical static proportions makes the most sense, and there are times when you will need to create lots of visual movement in your designs. It all depends on the goals of the project/product, and this technique is just one of many ways to achieve those goals.
