Kissin plays it with the speed of the original composition of Schumann. I don't know why would other pianists speed this piece up. It's meant to be a slow melody, sort of a confession. Even if Liszt's transcription demands it to be played fast, I don't think it's proper to do so. Kissin has just the right speed. That way we can hear every single key's emotional boom. Love it

This is the best performance I've ever heard. I have always loved to watch Kissin playing, growing, and getting mature. Ever since I saw him play Chopin as a little kid, I could have never loved him more.
