I am so glad that he looks happy! Every time I see him, it reminds me of a funny story that I read in the autobiography of German singer Thomas Quasthoff.
Evgeni was only 17 or 18 when he was invited on a cruise 🚢, along with other young up and coming musicians, like Quasthoff and many others. They were supposed to play for entertainment, an in return they got this luxury atlantic cruise for free. Everybody had a great time partying, playing, drinking, laughing etc. But Evgeni was always guarded by his mother and his piano teacher who made sure that he would only eat, sleep and practice. The other prodigies felt sorry for him and made a plan to kidnap the poor boy. When Evgeni and his „guards“ went for a walk, one of them adressed the two ladies and distracted them, while Thomas grabbed Evgeni and pulled him to an exit door in the blink of an eye. They took him to one of the bars on board, where the other musicians were already waiting and cheering. They had a wonderful party, and Evgeni was very excited and grateful 😂😂😂

I truly think that people like him are not from this world! We all have gifts, we all have potential, but how these people are dedicated to one thing, in this case music and piano, it's absolutely above and beyond my understanding.
