How safe your drinking water is when it comes out of your faucet is something we take very seriously. Thank you for this episode, very informative. I don't think you've already done one on this (forgive me if you have), but I hope you'll consider discussing PFAS in the water supply in Durham. It is my understanding that PFAS has been detected in Durham water at elevated levels, but it's confusing how dangerous it is and what steps we should be taking to ensure our safety and health

It was stated that in order to determine the type of incoming supply pipe one has, that one should “go into the crawlspace with a magnet, a penny, a flashlight and a cell phone“ but does not describe how one uses those to determine what kind of water supply pipe one has. Can you elaborate?
