Multiplayer Java Game Devlog #2 - Adding Bots

This devlog showcases the addition of bots to Rogue Arena! After two weeks of working I finally got them working properly with A* pathfinding. The bots are able to move to the objective, attack, and use their ability's to fight the player and other bots. They still need some work, but I am rather happy for how they turned out for this multiplayer 2D arena shooter.

I really like the dwarf rock heal ability. I like that it literally is a rock :)

A simple fix to the a* problem is to expand the searcher to 2x2 grid for moving diagonally.
If both sides are clear in the 2x2 grid then it is allowed to go diagonally.
I think that should help your issue.
If you have subtiles then you can ask if that subtile is clear.
