Believe me no one can explain this better than you.

what everybody else said, out of all the videos on youtube this one is the most simplistic and easy to understand. Well done!

This is the clearest explanation I've heard. You get straight to the point. Good job

You have a very good delivery. Clear and to the point. Thanks.

This has been the best explanation by far on what three phase is and why we use it.

Thank you for the lesson.

you've answered questions that I've had not just about 3 phase but single phase for years and haven't been able to find answers to. thank you.

cmooon maan.. what a blessing I have search and search and explore all my life since I am interesting in three phase and didn't find any clear and cool explanation like a swimming pool... give us more and don't cut you hair like others said.. you look like a thunder of electric from the sky... thanks man.. God bless

Why are other explanations so complicated. I have used 3 phase power for years on machinery and understood it, but found it hard to explain to others. I decided to find a simple explanation and finally found one. Thanks

1:25 - "If you pick any three wires and tie them together you end up with a neutral point"

Each coil has a "start" and an "end". To create a neutral point I believe you need to connect all three "starts" together or all three "ends" together. It has been some years since I studied this, but I'm pretty sure you can't just mix and match between starts and ends.

This is great. I watched another video which presented that at the peak of any phase, there is a larger difference to one of the other phases, than a single phase would have to neutral / zero volts on its own. So I thought the benefit of 3-phase was just higher voltage. But I didn't really get why you now measured the voltage difference to the other lower phase, instead of to regular zero volts. I think I see now now why that is, with your explanation of the 'new neutral' by tieing the three phases together. I hope I've got that right.
This video also explained another benefit over just 'greater voltage' in explaining how a load can always feel positive voltage rather than dipping into negatives. Thanks so much.
